Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

Title: The Raging Ones
Author: Krista and Becca Ritchie
Pub Date: August 14, 2017
Pages: 352

In a freezing world, where everyone knows the day they will die, three teens break all odds.
Franny Bluecastle, a tough city teen, dreams of dying in opulence, to see wealth she’s never known. Like the entire world, she believes it’s impossible to dodge a deathday.
Until the day she does.

Court Icecastle knows wealth. He also knows pain. Spending five years in Vorkter Prison, a fortress of ice and suffering, he dreams of life beyond the people that haunt him and the world that imprisoned him.

Mykal Kickfall fights for those he loves. The rugged Hinterlander shares a frustrating yet unbreakable connection with Court—which only grows more lawless and chaotic as their senses and emotions connect with Franny.

With the threat of people learning they’ve dodged their deathdays, they must flee their planet to survive. But to do so, all three will have to hide their shared bond as they vie for a highly sought after spot in the newest mission to space. Against thousands of people far smarter, who’ll live longer, and never fear death the way that they do

So you all know that I am HUGE, and I mean HUGE fan of Krista and Becca Ritchie. So when I heard they were writing a YA Fantasy Adventure, I knew I just had to read it. Even if I don't read YA very often, I knew I wouldn't be dissapointed. They have a knack for story telling that is just amazing. I have not read anything of theirs that I did not love and enjoy.

From the moment that we meet Franny on the cold, frozen streets of Bartholo looking for her last paycheck on her death day to meeting Mykal and Court. I was hooked! Hooked, brought into this cold world and the lives of these 3 characters. I had so many questions, questions I can't get into without being to spoilery. But this story was like one I had  never read before. I was completely fascinated. The whole concept of everyone knowing their death day, and how that is even possible. But it is set in the future, so who knows what type of technology will be developed. and why did they live past thier death day, what makes them so special?!

I loved that it was written in multiple POV's. Getting into each characters head is always fun. Especially when each character is so vastly different. I found myself being drawn to Court, a young guy who seemed so haunted by his past. And with each POV of his a little more of him was shown and I couldn't help but want to know more. There was this tender yet harshness about him that made you want to just wrap your arms around him. Give him a big hug and tell him that everything is going to be ok. Then there was Mykal, the light hearted "muscle" of the group. Not afraid to show his emotions. Wearing them right on his sleeve ( reminded me a little of Ryke and the hot tempered triad from the Addicted and Calloway series.)  Living in the moment, and trying to add some life into the hardships that they were all facing. Not to mention his relationship with Court was perfection. Their chemistry jumped off the pages, and you could tell that their friendship and bond was stronger than just the connection they shared.

The were thrills, suspense, sadness, and even a bit of romance. Definitely not their usual romance, but for this story what romance that was had, was perfect. Wasn't too much or too little! It was written to be part of the story and not just written to be written. The world that they created was futuristic, yet modern at the same time. Those elements were neat to read. And the fact that everyone knows their death day just added a whole knew thrill to the story. As well as some elements of surprise that crept up from the past that had you sitting on the edge of your seat. I liked how things were revealed to you when they needed to be. It was like an old fashioned mystery mixed with contemporary/ YA romance. If that makes any sense...haha.

In the beginning of the story, and this not spoilerish at all. Frannie is coming up to her death day and she speaks of what she has planned. Makes you think, what would you do if you knew the day you were going to die?! Would you spend it in a luxurious hotel that you would never be able to afford, go on a crazy vacation, spend it with family and friends?

I truly loved this story and can not wait for the rest of the world to get their hands on it. It's a definite must read, and I've been a fan of these ladies for quite sometime. But these ladies have a fan and friend in me for life. They will remain an instant buy for me always! I give this 5 out of  5 stars!

Excerpt

"Whatever, just hand me what you have, and I'll try it all on." She reaches for the huge pile from Tara's hands. "Happy now?" "Yep. Now get your cute butt into that fitting room and model everything for me." With a huff, Tinley throws the pile of clothes over her shoulder and trudges her way over. She doesn't see an employee in sight when the rooms come into view and hopes she doesn't need a key to get in. She'd rather not have to drag herself all over the store with this ridiculous pile of clothing. She tries the first door in front of her, and of course, it's locked. The doors go all the way to the floor, so there's no way she can slide her body underneath even if she wanted to. She starts to walk back out into the store when she spots a door slightly ajar at the end of the hallway. She shuffles past all the other rooms and pushes the door wide open. For a split second, she has that awkward panic moment-her feet glued to their spot on the floor and a look of horror on her face. She can't look away, but what's in front of her is absolutely terrifying. The woman screams, which finally pulls Tinley out of her daze. She slams the door shut, the clothes tumble from her hands, and she hightails it out of there. She doesn't even stop to tell Tara she's leaving as she speed walks by her. The only thing on her mind is getting out of this store as fast as humanly possible without making a scene. As soon as Tinley steps foot out of the store, someone pulls on her arm and whips her around. "What just happened? Why did you leave?"

ABOUT ALL CLOSED OFF (Releasing May 1, 2017):

Stella Santos is fine.

Maybe something terrible happened to her that she can’t even remember. And maybe it drives her crazy when her friends treat her like she’s on the verge of breaking because of it. Maybe it feels even worse when they do what she asks and pretend that it never happened at all. And maybe she’s been getting harassing emails and messages for months from people who don’t even know her, but hate her all the same.
But none of that matters because she’s just fine.
For Ryan Blake, Stella was always that girl. Vibrant and hilarious and beautiful. He wanted her as his best friend. His more than friends. His everything and anything that she would give him. Which these days is a whole lot of nothing. She gets angry when he’s there. Angry when he’s not there. Angry when he tries to talk and when he doesn’t.
When Stella devises an unconventional art project for one of her classes all about exploring intimacy—between both friends and strangers—Ryan finds himself stepping in as guinea pig after one of her subjects bails. What was supposed to be an objective and artistic look at emotion and secrets and sex suddenly becomes much more personal. When he hits it off with another girl from the project, Stella will have to decide if she’s willing to do more than make art about intimacy. To keep him, she’ll have to open up and let herself be the one thing she swore she’d never be again.
Vulnerable.

An all new second chance love story by the New York Times Bestselling author of the beloved Driven series. It all started with the invitation. To my ex-fiance’s new wedding. I should have ignored it. Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied. With a plus one. And then my assistant accidentally mailed it. Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye. When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear of him. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me. But I didn’t. And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? *********************************************************************************

K. Bromberg has been an author on my TBR list for quite sometime. I just haven't had the time with work to commit to another series. But when I saw that she was writing a stand alone I knew I knew I had to read it! I could not have been more excited when I saw I was chosen to receive an advanced copy to read and review.
Sweet Cheeks is a hilarious, moving, and very romantic second chance at love story.  And you all know how I'm a sucker for second chance stories. They just pull at my heart strings. And K. Bromberg did not disappoint with this one. She had me wanting more from the very beginning.

I could not help but fall in love and root for Saylor and Hayes. Childhood best friends turned high school sweet hearts with a rocky past. Brought together after 10 years of silence because of a pact that Hayes made with Saylors brother Ryder.

Saylor has been invited to her Ex. Finances wedding. And by mistake the RSVP had been sent. Saylors brother gets it in his head that it will help their business if she went to the wedding and made nice with everyone and show that even though she was the one that walked away her life couldn't be better. Hence the appearance of Hayes. Of course Saylor can't go to the wedding alone, especially since she replied with a plus one on the RSVP card.

Now the two of them are stuck together on an exotic tropical island. Acting like they are madly in love.  Of course, emotions begin to run high,  buried feelings begin surface,  and ultimately choices will have to be made.
I loved the way the author wrote these characters. Even though its not everyday you find an actor going home to a small town. The  whole scenario seemed believable.  Everything seemed so natural and unforced.  The chemistry between the characters was phenomenal. Made me wish I had a high school sweet heart in my life.  It was just too cute.

Not to mention the witty banter between the characters, just great. Absolutely loved it. I could not have asked for more in a male lead. Strong, sexy, funny, and of course sweet. As well as an amazingly determined, strong willed, sweet, damaged , feisty female lead.

When you are first introduced to the characters you know that they both has a past. Saylor, with her ex-fiance and Hayes with Saylor. You aren't sure why she would walk away from the so called "perfect man." and on the other hand you see that Hayes still affects her when he shows up to help her in this predicament that she is in. Even though she doesn't believe that she is in. And you're not exactly sure of the past that the two of them have (Saylor and Hayes.) All you know is that he left with out a word 10 years prior and she was heartbroken. But it seems that there was more to him leaving, which is told through out the book.

While i was reading I could feel what each character was going through. When they were sad I felt sad, and when they were happy, I felt happy. When there was love in the air, oh boy I felt it. You knew from the moment that these two were thrown together that sparks were going to fly and boy did they. I will also warn you that by the end of this book you are going to be craving cupcakes. Through out reading this book, with all the talk about cupcakes I was like I need those....like now. I almost went and baked some because I was craving them so badly.

The setting of this story was beautiful and I could not have picked a better setting for a second chance love story then a tropical island/ small town. Creating a romantic setting as well as places that in sighted trips down memory lane. Well played K. Bromberg, well played.

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love. She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California. On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced, Aced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat, and Down Shift), and a novella (UnRaveled). She is currently finishing up Sweet Cheeks a standalone novel out November 14th. Her plans for 2017 include a sports romance duet (2 books: The Player, The Catch) and the Everyday Heroes series (3 books: Cuffed, Combust, and Cockpit). She’s also writing a novella for the 1,001 Dark Night series that will be out in February 2017. She loves to hear from her readers so make sure you check her out on social media.

Addicted Series Love Fest -Letter to Krista and Becca Ritchie

Hello Fellow Readers!

Due to the release of the final Addicted Series/Calloway Sisters novel on May 20th! The Fizzle Force wanted to do our own tribute and love to this wonderful series and its amazing authors!!

So I decided to show my addicted series love by just expressing how much I love these characters in the form of a goodbye/ thank you letter!

-To Krista and Becca

I have come to absolutely love these characters, each and everyone. From the two that started it all Lily and Lo all the way to Sadie the cat! Through all of these novels, we have laughed, cried, mourned, evolved, and fallen in love with these characters. From their highest achievements to their lowest of lows, we have been through it all.

Its hard not to become attached to characters that feel so real and normal, despite the fact that are children of millionaire moguls. They each had their own problems and worked through them, but I think what has stuck with me the most through all these books is they have one common theme.

FAMILY IS EVERYTHING!

No matter what either of them have gone through, they have gone through it together. When one of them was hurting they all were hurting.

Which is something that I have always admired about them. The way that they were a force to be reckoned with when something went wrong. Even if they weren't always fond of each other *cough* Rose and Lo *cough* haha. However,  In the end I believe that each and everyone of them would gladly lay down their lives to protect the other.

Not to mention they are all quirky and funny as hell, as well huge nerds. Well I cant necessarily call Connor and Rose Cobalt  nerds. They would be the know it all's of the group, I say that in the nicest way possible, because if I was ever in trouble those are the two I would want in my corner getting me out of any sticky situation. Even though I love Daisy, Lily, Lo, and Ryke.

These feelings that we have about these characters is a huge testament to Krista and Becca! The wonderful, talented, amazing authors who created and brought these unbelievable characters to life.
There are no amount of words that could be written to express the amount of gratitude and love that we all have for you! I can not tell you how many times I've been in a predicament and had to think what would Connor Cobalt do? Especially when choosing what I wear, Rose Calloway has been a huge influence. lol. I even tried to learn French because of those two. It didn't go so well. But its the attempt that counts right.

The friendships that have also our been created from our love of this series. Is a friendship that will last long after this series is over.

I still cant believe that its coming to an end. I feel like I'm losing Harry Potter all over again! Bu I can not be more excited to see what the future holds, as well as what happens in Some Kind of Perfect!

I know im kind of all over the place. Ive never been good with exspressing emorions into words. And I kind of feel all over the place, but I guess what I'm trying to say  is THANK YOU!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating these realistic, strong, caring, witty, brave, and loyal characters for us readers!

With Love and Thanks,

Kaitlan

Addicted Series Full-Length Epilogue Novelfalling in love was just the beginning

I am IN LOVE with this series, and these characters! I could be more excited and sad  for the release of this book. These characters have formed a special place in my heart and I am in no way ready to say goodbye! But I also can not wait to see how it all ends. These characters seriously feel like old friends, and have grown so much throughout the series. However, even though it will break my heart to have to say goodbye.  All good things must come to an end right. The best thing about books though, is that it never really ends. We can always go back and revisit our favorite characters over and over again. I say this now, but I guarantee that when I finish this book I will be a blubbering mess of feels.

If you have read this series then you know exactly what I am talking about, and if you have not yet met these wonderful characters. You are seriously missing out and I encourage you wholeheartedly to go and grab a copy of Addicted To You, the novel that started it all!

If you ask the confident and snarky skater girl, and she’s in the mood to share, she’ll tell you her name is Cat. She might even tell you that she’s hooked on graffiti, 80s movies, and having fun—the riskier the better. Cat will share a good time with you, but she won’t ever trust you enough to share her heart. It’s protected by secrets and she’d like to keep it that way.

Cat knows one thing for certain: Love isn’t really her thing.

If you ask the confident and rich pretty boy, he might tell you his name is Huck. He might even tell you he loves a challenge and is used to getting his way. He won’t tell you that his life is a mess because he risked his heart by trusting the wrong girl. Huck is ready for a change, he just wasn’t ready to get hooked on someone like Cat.

Huck knows one thing for certain: Love hasn’t done him any favors, but Cat just might be worth the risk.

Cat and Huck think a one-night stand seems harmless, but when all the little secrets they didn’t share turn out to be toxic truths, they realize how easily a one-night stand (or a few) could ruin everything.

The thing is, you can be ruined in more than one way. Once you’re HOOKED, what wouldn’t you risk for the chance at more?

I just finished this book before adding it to this weeks post! I am IN LOVE with this book. It took me over a year to read. But when I finally picked it up, I could not put this book down. The chemistry between the main characters was electrifying, and their witty banter was intoxicating. The writing was captivating and you could not wait to see what happens next. I can not say enough good things about this book. If you get a chance add it to your goodreads and give it a read!

Crashed Out by Tessa Bailey

Jasmine Taveras is the reason Sarge Purcell grabbed his six-string and bailed the hell out of New Jersey four years ago. She's the fuel for every song he's ever written—each one laced with bitter, hard-edged, hungry lust. Now, with his hugely successful band on temporary hiatus, Sarge is determined to prove to Jasmine that this “kid” turned into every inch the man she's always needed...

Men are slim pickings for a single factory girl in Hook, New Jersey…until tall, broad-shouldered hotness walks—or rather storms—into Jasmine's life. Sarge's return shouldn't affect her this way. He's her best friend's much younger kid brother, and the kind of rough, gritty, sexiness Jasmine has no right to taste for herself. Even if he lets her.

But lust is a blinding, insatiable force. And when it crashes, it will take both Sarge and Jasmine down with it...

His to Take by Katee Robert

Erin Robinson is having an epically bad year. Her blossoming career on Broadway tanked, forcing her to crawl back to home to Wellington. The icing on her failure cake? Her former on-again, off-again fling is in town, and the sexy Marine is taking up way too much space.

Warren Davis always knew Erin was special, which is exactly why he can’t have her. A girl like her deserves something permanent—something neither of them wants. But now that they’re both back in town and she’s right there in front of him, a challenge in her eyes he’s never been able to resist, he’s questioning everything.

That challenge quickly escalates into an epic game of Truth or Dare. Erin’s sure she’s got him on lock, but as the night progresses, Warren’s dares intensify, drowning her in lust. But with the past still breathing down their necks, there’s no way either of them can win…

Say You're Mine by Diane Alberts

Navy SEAL Steven Thomas has only ever been able to count on three things: waking up in the morning, going to sleep sometime during the night, and Lauren Brixton. She’s been his best friend since grade school, and what they have is the only relationship he’s managed not to ruin.

Until one drunken night puts that all in jeopardy.

Lauren’s watched Steven flit from one-night stand to one-night stand, seemingly not interested in something more. So when the long-ignored attraction between the two of them blows up in their faces, she does the only thing she can—she pretends she doesn’t want him. But all’s fair in love and war, and Steven’s not about to lose the only person in his life who matters…
