Title: Sweet Cheeks
Author: K. Bromberg
Pub Date: November 10, 2016
An all new second chance love story by the New York Times Bestselling author of the beloved Driven series.
It all started with the invitation. To my ex-fiance’s new wedding.
I should have ignored it. Thrown it away. Set it afire. But I didn’t. I replied.
With a plus one.
And then my assistant accidentally mailed it.
Enter Hayes Whitley. Mega-movie star. The man who has captured the hearts of millions. But I gave him mine years ago. He was my first love. He was my everything. Right until he up and left to chase his dreams without so much as a simple goodbye.
When he showed up out of the blue ten years later, I should have known to steer clear of him. I should have rejected his offer to take me to my ex’s wedding. I should have never let him kiss me.
But I didn’t.
And now we’re left wondering if the pieces of the life we once shared still fit together somehow. First loves are hard to forget. The question is, do we want to forget? Or do we risk the chance and see what happens next?

K. Bromberg has been an author on my TBR list for quite sometime. I just haven't had the time with work to commit to another series. But when I saw that she was writing a stand alone I knew I knew I had to read it! I could not have been more excited when I saw I was chosen to receive an advanced copy to read and review.
Sweet Cheeks is a hilarious, moving, and very romantic second chance at love story. And you all know how I'm a sucker for second chance stories. They just pull at my heart strings. And K. Bromberg did not disappoint with this one. She had me wanting more from the very beginning.
I could not help but fall in love and root for Saylor and Hayes. Childhood best friends turned high school sweet hearts with a rocky past. Brought together after 10 years of silence because of a pact that Hayes made with Saylors brother Ryder.
Saylor has been invited to her Ex. Finances wedding. And by mistake the RSVP had been sent. Saylors brother gets it in his head that it will help their business if she went to the wedding and made nice with everyone and show that even though she was the one that walked away her life couldn't be better. Hence the appearance of Hayes. Of course Saylor can't go to the wedding alone, especially since she replied with a plus one on the RSVP card.
Now the two of them are stuck together on an exotic tropical island. Acting like they are madly in love. Of course, emotions begin to run high, buried feelings begin surface, and ultimately choices will have to be made.
I loved the way the author wrote these characters. Even though its not everyday you find an actor going home to a small town. The whole scenario seemed believable. Everything seemed so natural and unforced. The chemistry between the characters was phenomenal. Made me wish I had a high school sweet heart in my life. It was just too cute.
Not to mention the witty banter between the characters, just great. Absolutely loved it. I could not have asked for more in a male lead. Strong, sexy, funny, and of course sweet. As well as an amazingly determined, strong willed, sweet, damaged , feisty female lead.
When you are first introduced to the characters you know that they both has a past. Saylor, with her ex-fiance and Hayes with Saylor. You aren't sure why she would walk away from the so called "perfect man." and on the other hand you see that Hayes still affects her when he shows up to help her in this predicament that she is in. Even though she doesn't believe that she is in. And you're not exactly sure of the past that the two of them have (Saylor and Hayes.) All you know is that he left with out a word 10 years prior and she was heartbroken. But it seems that there was more to him leaving, which is told through out the book.
While i was reading I could feel what each character was going through. When they were sad I felt sad, and when they were happy, I felt happy. When there was love in the air, oh boy I felt it. You knew from the moment that these two were thrown together that sparks were going to fly and boy did they. I will also warn you that by the end of this book you are going to be craving cupcakes. Through out reading this book, with all the talk about cupcakes I was like I need those....like now. I almost went and baked some because I was craving them so badly.
The setting of this story was beautiful and I could not have picked a better setting for a second chance love story then a tropical island/ small town. Creating a romantic setting as well as places that in sighted trips down memory lane. Well played K. Bromberg, well played.
Make sure you grab your copy today!!! You don't want to miss this one! I's so glad that my first K. Bromberg book was Sweet Cheeks.
Disclaimer: I recieved an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love.
She’s a mixture of most of her female characters: sassy, intelligent, stubborn, reserved, outgoing, driven, emotional, strong, and wears her heart on her sleeve. All of which she displays daily with her husband and three children where they live in Southern California.
On a whim, K. Bromberg decided to try her hand at this writing thing. Since then she has written The Driven Series (Driven, Fueled, Crashed, Raced, Aced), the standalone Driven Novels (Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat, and Down Shift), and a novella (UnRaveled). She is currently finishing up Sweet Cheeks a standalone novel out November 14th.
Her plans for 2017 include a sports romance duet (2 books: The Player, The Catch) and the Everyday Heroes series (3 books: Cuffed, Combust, and Cockpit). She’s also writing a novella for the 1,001 Dark Night series that will be out in February 2017.
She loves to hear from her readers so make sure you check her out on social media.
