inspiration or lack there of...

Sorry for the lack of blogs lately or should I say for awhile. I have never been a constant blogger. Although I know that I have made promises in the past of "going to blog everyday" or "I am trying to blog more often." I know you've guys have heard that more than once. I dont know what it is lately. For some reason I have just been out of inspiration and have had a lack of a need to write. Not that I have ever been one to really write down what I am feeling or write in general, its never been my forte. I was hoping that was going to change once I got this blog. Sadly it has not been an incentive for me to start and continue writing.

With all the sadness going on in the world, I just feel kind of bogged down ya know. Its a feeling that I am not quite fond of and I hope goes away. It pretty much makes me feel that there is nothing going on important for me to blog about, when that is so not true. Its more like there is so many things going on that maybe Im not sure what to say exactly, so therefore I say nothing. Which is not a good thing in my book. Idk maybe I just have to make more of an effort to get my lazy bones to the computer and write something. Sorry for this blog of giberish. Felt the need to sort of explain why I have not really been blogging. Hope everyone is having a wonderful wednesday and is staying nice and toasty warm!

1.11.11

So today is 1.11.11 and I have a feeling that today is going to be a pretty lucky day. I mean it's technically 11:11 all day, that's gotta mean something! I challenge you all to go out and find make your own luck or do something to brighten someone else's day and don't worry I'll be doing the same. I feel now more than ever we all need to come together and help one another. Especially on light of what happened in Tucson, AZ this weekend. My thoughts a prayers are with all the people who were affected by this tragedy. What you do today could be the simplest thing in the world, just listening to a friend in need, helping someone carry groceries to their car, paying for someones toll on the turnpike (my professor does this), or giving a complete stranger a compliment. It truly is the simple things that people do to help that affects and touches people the most, and I wanna hear all about what you guys do and how you made your own luck. I'll make sure to write a blog about my adventures today as well. :)

LUX IN DANGER!!!

So a while back I asked all OTH fans to come together so we could save the show and get it the back 9! Well thankfully for all us OTH fans we won that battle and got the back 9 and a full season 8! Now I am asking that all those same people to come together and save another show from extinction. A new show that has only been around for 1 season, currently in season 2. That show would be LUX. It has warmed its way into all of our hearts and we can not allow such a wonderful show to be cancelled. We all have to pull together and use our voices to get another wonderful its back 9. So Please make sure that you are trending on twitter and watching the show. Make sure that the people over at the CW Network know that we all love this show. Nothing is set in stone yet, we still have time to save this show! Lets get to work guys, I know that we can do it! :)

My HAT!!

As many of you know I have been knitting a hat for the winter season and good news, I've finished it!!!! I know, Im so excited to share it with you guys. My suitmate Amy, who is sort of teaching me how to knit is working on closing it off right now so it actually looks like a hat...lol. Right now it looks like a hat with with a big hole in the top..hehe. I will be posting pictures as soon as it is complete. It looks so much cuter than I thought it would. Knitting is #somuchmorefunthangossip. Yes I know that this isnt twitter but I just had to write it that way and speaking of #somuchmorethangossip if you are not sure what that is please go and check out http://www.bjgofficial.com/2010/10/american-gossip-epidemic.html. This is from Bethany Joy Galeotti's Official Blog and this entry is so moving! No one should be ridiculed for who they are or who they love. Its such a terrible thing how we can all turn on each other at the drop of a hat. We should all want to help and treat each other with kindness. When I hear about how all of these teenagers are committing suicide due to bullying, no matter what the reason breaks my heart. Please go to the above link and take what is written to heart. We can make a difference, love is louder and hate will loose this battle! Hope your all having a wonderful week!
